Nexans autoelectric operates with over 11,000 employees in four continents and has thereby a strong foot print in the global market. As system and development supplier, the international group of companies provides mainly the premium vehicles with drive cablings and components for vehicle wiring systems and assistance systems. The close collaboration in the development team results in the high security requirements: Since 2017, the majority of automobile groups require from its business partners to adhere to the TISAX®-Standards (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange). Telekom MMS consulted, trained and conducted the required assessments in Nexans autoelectric for the implementation of standard.

After all, the international standard ensures the adherence to the information security within collaborative projects. Extensive consulting, training and assessments

ZAt the beginning of the assignment, the status quo was first recorded on the basis of VDA-ISA- questionnaire, in order to subsequently develop an extensive concept of measures. In the course of standard implementation, several assessments were conducted as well as documents and templates were compiled besides consulting workshops and trainings. The establishment of risk management for information security is an additional, effective tool to ensure the information security as per the TISAX®-requirements for Nexans.
