Automated Import of Catalog Data Due to Servicetrace X1 Robotic Solution
EPLAN develops one of the world's leading software solutions for electrical design in machine, plant and control cabinet construction. Since 1984, EPLAN has been a provider of software and services for all aspects of engineering in the fields of electrical engineering, automation and mechatronics and employs around 1,150 people in 50 countries worldwide.
In order to be able to offer planning software for electrical engineering, data of various components used in machine, plant and control cabinet construction must be available - manually entered, this process takes up a lot of valuable employee time. Since efficiency is a guiding principle of EPLAN, the import of catalog data should be automated. Telekom MMS implemented a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) service for this purpose.
